A Saturday Morning Post
Folks, the most consequential American election of our lifetimes occurs in fewer than 45 days. I am writing for dear life because our nation’s safety, our families’ futures, and our planet’s peace are direly threatened by evil. Americans must choose rightly. For our survival we must choose the rule of law and science over the rule of emotion.
This election will have consequences. This election will decide: Shall America continue the current regime of inflation, ignorance, open borders, hatred, ill health, declining fertility, war, and slavery? Shall America continue to permit public schools to turn out children ignorant, useless, hopeless, and sexually corrupted? Shall government agents continue to destroy farms, ranches, mines, and local economies? Shall homelessness continue to rise in American cities? Shall armed invaders continue to occupy buildings, assault people on the street, and bully local governments? Shall American protectors—firefighters, police, and armed services—continue to be defunded while a certain class of prosecutors refuses to bring criminals to justice?
This election will have consequences. Should America return to the rule of law, people will know the law and exercise their rights. Under the rule of law, government agents and elected officials know the statutes within which they must operate. Under the rule of law, when public safety is breached, protectors do restore order.
As a historian, I viewed primary source evidence: Trump’s speeches, rallies, interviews, meetings with citizens, meetings with generals, and the Abraham Accords. I read Trump’s executive orders and writings. And I concluded that Trump stands for peace and the rule of law. In everything he did as president, Trump operated by the book, by God’s law, by the nation’s statutes, and by the Constitution. All the primary source evidence says so. When all primary source evidence points one way, contrary opinions of secondary sources are irrelevant. It stands to reason that under a Trump presidency, America will have an opportunity to return to the rule of law and thus to the peace, safety, and prosperity America enjoyed under Trump.
Influenced by the Democratic media, dear friends have tried to convince me that Trump is a bad man. I ask for evidence; so far, they have come up with January 6, and a recording of Trump in man-to-man locker room talk from 30 years ago. Regarding January 6, I heard Trump advise a million souls to proceed “peacefully and patriotically” to the Capitol. Trump knew there would be shenanigans and provocateurs; he had called for 500 National Guardsmen to keep order; the Democratic mayor and Speaker of the House refused. End of story.
Regarding Trump’s locker room talk, folks know that men do talk about women. So what? “You shall know them by their fruits.” Trump as a family man produces hard-working, healthy, successful offspring. Sure, Trump has a brash, bold personality; no wonder: he came up as a New York businessman who had to confront organized crime and corrupt politicians, and deal with unions. Americans pick a president for his record, and Trump’s record reveals a lawful, peace-loving president, an effective boss who solved problems, achieved objectives, and fired people who didn’t get the job done. In America’s current dire situation, we need as president a lawful man with a strong personality who, ably backed by his loyal military, takes seriously his oath to defend the Constitution—and that’s exactly who Trump is.
This election will have consequences. As Trump says, “Only consequential presidents get shot at.”
Arthur and I welcome your comments and questions on this post. Please pass on this post, especially to people who think their vote doesn’t matter. We hope this post sparks discussions around kitchen tables, in pubs and cafes, in the streets and markets. It is important that you vote and that your paper ballot is hand-counted.
